EPIKH final workshop

| Objectives | The Exchange Programme to advance e-Infrastructure Know-How project (EPIKH) is a Marie Curie Action, funded by the European Commission, with partners worldwide. In South Africa, these include the Meraka Institute and the University of Cape Town. The strategic aims of the EPIKH project are to: reinforce the impact of e-Infrastructures in scientific research defining and delivering stimulating programme of educational events, including Grid Schools and High Performance Computing courses/Broaden the engagement in e-Science activities and collaborations both geographically and across disciplines. The final workshop of the latest EPIKH event “UJ/Wits School for Grid Application Porting” will take place on March,26, 2010 at the Council Chamber of the University of Johannesburg and it will be organised into two sessions: Morning Session (Publicise and give feedback on the Task Force for Sub-Saharan e-Infrastructure Deployment) & Afternoon Session (Report back on the results of the application porting and status of SAGrid). |
