DESCRIPTION:The Conference\, organised by the Unesco Bamako Cluster Office\, will be held in Bamako (Mali) on October 5-7\, 2010. The main objectives of the Conference are to: 1/. review efforts at improving quality of delivery of higher education in Africa between 2000 and 2009\; 2/. propose an agenda for action for meeting the challenges to quality assurance in higher education in Africa at the individual\, institutional\, national\, sub-regional and regional levels in the new decade\; 3/. stimulate the setting up of projects and programmes aiming at improving quality assurance practices in the region\; 4/. seek partnerships in implementing the higher education quality assurance agenda.
